Nellie O. (Chancellor) Yarbrough

Mrs. Nellie O. Yarbrough, 88, of Wayne County, MS passed from this life Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Westside Terrace Healthcare in Dothan, AL. She was born in Wayne County, MS on Thursday, September 14, 1933 to the late Archie T. Chancellor and Estelle Chancellor Bradshaw. She was retired as Owner and Operator of Nell's Variety Store in Flora, MS. Mrs. Yarbrough is preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Leonard Yarbrough; father, Archie T. Chancellor; mother, Estelle Chancellor Bradshaw; six brothers, Ozell Chancellor, Auburt Chancellor, Ezell "Jim" Chancellor, Willie Chancellor, Lavon Chancellor, Terrell Chancellor; two sisters, Alma West, Elizabeth Ishee. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Y. Quillen (Jesse), Enterprise, AL; brother, Billie Chancellor (Sylvia), Buckatunna, MS; two grandsons, Preston Quillen (Edie), Jackson, AL, Dr. Peyton Quillen, Oxford, MS; two great grandchildren, Norah Quillen, Jackson, AL, Amos Quillen, Jackson, AL. Visitation for Mrs. Yarbrough will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Laurel (Wayne County), MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Laurel (Wayne County), MS with Rev. B. J. Hales officiating. A Graveside Service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Flora Cemetery in Flora, MS.
