Mary Nell (Hinton) Layton

Mrs. Mary Nell Layton, 76, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, July 10, 2020 at Wayne General Hospital. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Monday, October 4, 1943 to Novel Hinton and Elzie Hinton. She had worked as a Clerk at Ingalls Shipyard.   Mrs. Layton is preceded in death by her husband, John Larry Layton; father, Novel Hinton; mother, Elzie Hinton; sister, Alice Smith. She is survived by her son, Howard Earl Layton, Waynesboro, MS; nephew, Neil Williams, Crestview, FL, Wally Williams, Saraland, AL; niece, Leigh Ann Hartsell, Prattville, AL. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at White House Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Aubrey Cook officiating.
