Mary Annie (Walker) Ezell

   Mrs. Mary Annie (Walker) Ezell, 87, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Saturday, October 12, 2024, at her residence in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Tuesday, August 10, 1937, to the late Doug and Mary Walker. She was a member of Waynesboro Presbyterian Church. She retired as a Teacher and Principal for the Wayne County School District.  

   Mrs. Ezell is preceded in death by her husband, Craig L. Ezell; parents, Doug and Mary Walker; brother, Edward O'Neil Walker; sister, Sylvia Walker DeWolf. She is survived by son, Craig W. Ezell (Pat) of Ellisville, MS; two daughters, Patricia A. Lawson (Ronnie) and Sharon K. Ezell, both of Waynesboro, MS; four grandchildren, Caroline West (John David), Ty Lawson (Courtney), Caitlyn Lawson, and William Ezell (Rebecca); five great grandchildren, Allie Lawson, Brayden Lawson, Lowen Lawson, Sam West, and Anna Grace Ezell.

   Visitation for Mrs. Ezell will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Monday, October 14, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 14, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Dr. Allen Stanton, Rev. Jim Riley, and Rev. Paul Nasekos officiating. Interment will be in Waynesboro Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
