Mary Doby

Mrs. Mary Doby, 89, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, May 18, 2020 at Wayne General Hospital. She was born in Waynesboro on Friday, August 29, 1930 to Charlie Weaver and Mamie Chapman Weaver. She was a member of Chapparal Baptist Church.  She retired from the blanket factory (Sunbeam) as Supervisor. Mrs. Mary is preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Brown Doby; second husband, James West; father, Charlie Weaver and mother, Mamie Weaver; son, John Doby; two brothers, Hooks and Shiny Weaver; sister, Nellie Stanley. She is survived by 2 sons, Charlie Doby (Judy), Thomasville, AL, Tom Doby (Joan), St. Marys, GA; two daughters, Sue Perry (Justin), Waynesboro, MS, Jimmie Carol McKay, New Orleans, LA; daughter-in-law, Luann Doby, Waynesboro, MS; 13 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Hebron Cemetery with Rev. Tom Walker officiating.
