Letha Bernice White

Mrs. Letha Bernice White, 81, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, August 10, 2023 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel. She was born in Millry, AL on Monday, June 29, 1942 to E. J. Dixon and Connie Dixon. She was a member of Laton Hill Baptist Church and was a Homemaker. Mrs. Letha is preceded in death by her husband, James M. White, father, E. J. Dixon and mother, Connie Dixon; son, Jimmy White; brother, Jim Dixon; sister, Emmie Clark. She is survived by sons, Charles White (Samantha), Greenwich, OH, John White, Waynesboro, MS; daughters, Cathy Chandler, Waynesboro, MS, Marie White, Frankfort, KY; sisters, Sharon Cranford, Millry, AL, Annette Griffin, Spanish Fort, AL; grandchildren, Kristy Crager, Robert Crager, Kevin Crager, Gabrial Rumsey, Quentin Perry, Charles White, Jr., Gwendelyn White, Tessa White, Tabitha White, Destiny Giles, Josh Giles, Jeremy Rice; great grandchildren, Levi Rumsey, Gus Rumsey, and Jack Rumsey. Visitation for Mrs. Letha will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Laton Hill Baptist Church in Chatom, AL  with Rev. Don Whigham officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Millry, AL.
