Mrs. Le'Anne West-Platt, 58, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, January 18, 2021 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Thursday, March 29, 1962 to Jim Tom West and Jean D. West. She was a member of New Hope Methodist Church. She worked as a United States Postal Service Rural Carrier. Mrs. Le'Anne is preceded in death by her husband, Kevin B. Platt; mother, Jean D. West; brother, John Jason West. She is survived by her father, Jim Tom West, Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Kye Platt-Boyd (Baygen), Waynesboro, MS; sister, Robin Henson (Joseph White), Leakesville, MS; two grandchildren, Paisley Boyd and Drake Boyd; niece, Summer Atkinson (Thomas), Waynesboro, MS; 2 great nieces, Kadence and Sophie. Visitation for Mrs. Le'Anne will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Bro. Fred Andrews officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
