Mrs. Judy Ann Dyess, 77, of Barlow, AL passed from this life Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Springhill Medical Center in Mobile, AL. She was born in Baldwin County, AL on Tuesday, September 14, 1943 to R. M. Chafin and Alma Chafin. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Dyess is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. David C. Dyess; father, R. M. Chafin; mother, Alma Chafin; daughter, Pamela Kay Dyess; three brothers, Robert Chafin, Thomas Chafin, Arnold Chafin; sister, Ruth Lassiter. She is survived by her three sons, David Cicero Dyess, II, Barlow, AL, John Barry Dyess (Karen), Wilmer, AL, Robert Singleton (Tanya), Albany, GA; three daughters, Judy Cordelia Holyfield (Tommy), Aquilla, AL, Lisa Deanne Dyess (Calvin), Barlow, AL, Kimberly Ann Nelson (Jason), Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Ouida Gunn, Faye Lassiter, both of Millry, AL; 15 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren. Due to Covid-19, all services for Mrs. Dyess will be held privately by the immediate family. Interment will be in Millry Holiness Church Cemetery in Millry, AL.
