Jimmie Carolyn (Graves) Kirkland

Mrs. Jimmie Carolyn Kirkland, 84, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Southern Living Specialty Care Residency surrounded by her family. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Monday, May 20, 1940 to Elvin Graves and Avetta Bunch. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Waynesboro.  She worked as a phlebotomist. Mrs. Kirkland is preceded in death by her parents, Elvin Graves and Avetta Bunch; husband, Dennis Kirkland; daughter, Detrich Stanley. She is survived by her two daughters, Shelia Freeman, Waynesboro, MS, Tammy Raines (Bill), Baton Rouge, LA; five grandchildren, Chad Stanley, Waynesboro, MS, Natalie Davis (Mark), Waynesboro, MS, Ashley Pitts (Jerry), Waynesboro, MS, Conner Raines, Baton Rouge, LA, Haley Raines, New Orleans, LA; four great grandchildren, Kaden Davis (Brook), Presley Davis, Jon Michael Pitts, Emily Pitts, all of Waynesboro, MS; great-great grandchild, Bexleigh Davis. A Graveside Service for Mrs. Kirkland will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 16, 2025 at White House Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Edward Bean officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS. Pallbearers are Bill Raines, Chad Stanley, Conner Raines, Mark Davis, Kaden Davis, Jon Michael Pitts.
