Jewel (Beasley) Taylor

​Mrs. Jewel Beasley Taylor, 96, of Buckatunna, MS passed away Friday, June 5, 2020 in Mobile, AL. She was born in Washington County, AL on Friday, October 5, 1923 to Jack Beasley and Lula Beasley. She was a member of Buckatunna United Methodist Church and was a Homemaker. Mrs. Jewel is preceded in death by her husband, Clifton H. Taylor; father, Jack Beasley and mother, Lula Beasley; two daughters, Hennrietta Taylor and  Patsy Gail Taylor; brother, James Beasley; and sister, Ailene Beasley. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Taylor West, Mobile, AL; two grandchildren, Brittany Allen (Lee), Spanish Fort, AL, Tyler West (Jennifer), Grifton, NC; four great-grandchildren, Jax Jones, Lane Allen, Nora Jewel West, and Elijah West. Graveside Services for Mrs. Taylor will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Lewis Chapel Cemetery, Buckatunna, MS. Interment will be in Lewis Chapel Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Buckatunna United Methodist Church Children's Department, and/or Lewis Chapel Cemetery Fund.
