Mr. Jessie "Buddy" Holyfield, 66, of Millry, AL passed from this life Thursday, January 7, 2021 in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Saturday, May 8, 1954 to Hubert Holyfield and Viola Holyfield. He worked as a Groundskeeper at Wayne General Hospital. Mr. Holyfield is preceded in death by his father, Hubert Holyfield; brother, Lamar Holyfield. He is survived by his mother, Viola Holyfield, Aquilla, AL; two sons, Justin Holyfield, Aquilla, AL, Austin Holyfield, Waynesboro, MS; two daughters, Cassie Carlisle (Scott), Aquilla, AL, Callie Burford, Bay Minette, AL; brother, Dale Holyfield (Kay), Millry, AL; sister, Elaine Grimes, Aquilla, AL; nine grandchildren, Kelsey Burford, Colten Carlisle, Chloe Burford, Landon Carlisle, Crimson Holyfield, Callum Burford, Kinley Carlisle, Destin Hodge, Mollie Hodge; a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Holyfield will be held from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Millry, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Millry, AL with Rev. James Murphy officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Millry, AL.
