Jean (Doherty) West

Mrs. Jean Doherty West, 82, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, May 15, 2020 at her residence. She was born Wednesday, April 20, 1938 to John Paul Doherty and Erma Lee Odom Doherty. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church. Mrs. Jean is preceded in death by her parents, John Paul Doherty and Erma Lee Odom Doherty; infant son, John Jason West, and sister, Shirlene D. Andrews. She is survived by her husband, James Thomas West, II; 2 daughters, Le'Anne West-Platt (Kevin), Waynesboro, MS, Robin Henson (Joseph White), Leakesville, MS; brother, Don Paul Doherty, Mobile, AL; 2 grandchildren, Summer Daniele Atkinson (Thomas), Kye Platt-Boyd (Baygen); 3 great-grandchildren, Kadence Henson, Sophie Atkinson, Drake Boyd. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 16, 2020 at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery, 177 Old River Road, Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Jody Smith officiating.
