Jasper Elmo Mashburn

Mr. Jasper Elmo Mashburn, 65, of Chicora, MS passed from this life Friday, February 19, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Friday, March 18, 1955 to Jasper C. "Jake" Mashburn, Jr. and Laura Mae Howse Mashburn. He was a member of Buckatunna United Methodist Church. He worked as Owner and Operator of Mashburn's Welding. Mr. Jasper is preceded in death by his father, Jasper C. "Jake" Mashburn, Jr.; mother, Laura Mae Mashburn; infant sister, Velma Mashburn. He is survived by his brother, Solomon Mashburn, Salt Point, NY; four sisters, Janice Mason (Charles), Bettie Bishop (John), Mary E. Pierce all of Chicora, MS, Gloria Graham (Carl "Blade"), Quitman, MS; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Memorial Services for Mr. Jasper will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Chicora-Davis Cemetery in Chicora, MS with Rev. Jessie Long and Rev. David Roberson officiating. Interment will be in Chicora-Davis Cemetery in Chicora, MS.
