James Patrick "Pat" Maginness

   Mr. James Patrick "Pat" Maginness, 54, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Lakeland, FL on Monday, January 5, 1970, to James Michael and Virginia Gail Maginness. He worked as a self-employed jeweler.
   Mr. Maginness is preceded in death by his father, James Michael Maginness; brother, Edward Maginness. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Joanna Lee Maginness of Waynesboro, MS; mother, Virginia Gail Maginness of Waynesboro, MS; son, Austin Herrington of Union, MS; two brothers, Rickey Welborn and John Welborn, both of Waynesboro, MS; sister, Jan Sams of Harrisville, TN; a host of nieces and nephews. 
   Visitation for Mr. Maginness will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 27, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Jacob Riley officiating.
