Mr. Hughes Bailey, 74, a native of State Line and resident of Millry, AL died Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center in Mobile, AL. He was a minister and member of State Line First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Betty Bailey of State Line; Son, John David Bailey (Dana) of Stringer; Lisa Quinnelly (Robin) of Sapulpa, OK; step-son, David Summers of Middleburg Height, OH; 2 step-daughters, Cheri Summers of Medina, OH and Marry Ann Brown of Sacramento, CA; 2 sisters, Eloise Platt of Tucson, AZ and June Hency of Pearidge, AR; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Bailey will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in the State Line First Baptist Church, State Line, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 24, 2010 from the State Line First Baptist Church in State Line, MS with Rev. Mike Street officiating. Interment will be in Bailey Cemetery, State Line, MS.
