Mr. Huey Harrison, 86, of Strengthford, MS passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at his residence while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Wayne County on Tuesday, December 18, 1934 to Zack Harrison and Ruby S. Harrison. He was a member of Crossroad Baptist Church. Mr. Harrison served in the United States Air Force and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was stationed in Iceland. Upon his return from duty he married his sweetheart, Jeanette. He was stationed in Nebraska. He was later discharged with honors moving back with his wife to Strengthford to start their lives together. They worked at the Blanket Factory together. He then worked as a Production Foreman at Amerada Hess Oil Corporation for 25 years. Mr. Harrison is preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 Years, Jeanette Harrison; father, Zack Harrison; mother, Ruby S. Harrison; two brothers, Frank "Buck" Harrison, Earvin Harrison; two sisters, Alice Holifield, Hazel Williams. He is survived by his son, Dennis Harrison (Freda); daughter, Annette Stevison, both of Strengthford, MS; 4 grandchildren, Michele Boyles, Qyuinna Airhart, Chastity Presely, Christity Napp; 7 great grandchildren, Stevison Ray Presley, Noah Napp, Ethan Napp, Andy Airhart, Max Airhart, Eian Airhart, Brennyn Boyles; several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Harrison will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Lloyd and Rev. Richard Bates officiating. Interment will be in Crossroad Cemetery in Strengthford. The family would like to say a special Thank You to Wayne General Hospice - especially Rhonda Cooley, Diane Davis, Dr. Wood and Dr. Hirschfield.
