Hazel Marie Bishop

Mrs. Hazel Marie Bishop, 88, of Waynesboro, MS died Friday, September 4, 2020 at Wayne General Hospital. She was born in Louisville, MS on Sunday, April 24, 1932 to Louis W. Ganey and Carrie E. Divine Ganey. She was a member of Community Southern Methodist Church. Mrs. Bishop is preceded in death by husband, Fletcher E. Bishop; father, Louis W. Ganey; mother, Carrie E. Divine Ganey; step-son, Ernest "Ernie" Bishop; two brothers, Pete Ganey, Ray Rogers. She is survived by her daughter, Marie King (Ennis), Waynesboro, MS; Daughter-In-Law, Mary Ann Bishop, Blue Mountain, MS; three grandchildren, Angela Kerecz, Melinda Summerlin, Thomas King; seven great-grandchildren, Slater Nelson, Skylar Nelson, Sadie Nelson, Soul Kerecz, Isabelle Sandridge, Selah Sandridge, Camryn King; great-great grandchild, Grant Nelson. Graveside Services for Mrs. Bishop will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Hebron Cemetery in Wayne County, MS with Rev. Roger Douglas officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Community Southern Methodist Church or The Gideons International.
