Geraldine W. Rigney

Mrs. Geraldine W. Rigney, 77, of State Line, MS passed from this life Monday, June 22, 2020 at Forrest General Hospital. She was born in Washington County, AL on Saturday, July 18, 1942 to Jeff Williams and Sallie Williams. She was a charter member of Clara Church of God.  She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Rigney is preceded in death by her husband, Ungay Rigney; father, Jeff Williams; mother, Sallie Williams; son, Tommy Rigney; three brothers, Junior Williams, Robert Pfau, Bruno Pfau; sister, Carolyn Faye Reed. She is survived by two sons, Alton Rigney (Cheryl), Richton, MS, Howard Rigney (Rhonda), Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Regina Rigney Hicks (Tim), Gonzales, LA; eight grandchildren, Rejetta Hicks Guillot (Brian),  Patrick Hicks (Stacey), Benjamin Hicks (Trista), Taylor Rigney, Justin Rigney, Thomas Rigney, Madison Rigney, Alli Grace Rigney; six great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Rigney will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Clara Church of God, Clara, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Clara Church of God in Clara, MS with Rev. Edward Bean, Rev. Michael Groce, Rev. C. J. Rigney, and Rev. Tim Hicks officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Wayne County, MS. Pallbearers are Jeff Williams, Jeremy Rigney, Isaac Anderson, Leslie Odom, Luther Odom, Ricky Pittman, Robert Reed, Trent Williams. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Clara Church of God Children's Ministry.
