Mrs. Gabrielle "Gabby" Boutwell, 23, of Decatur, MS passed from this life Friday, April 29, 2022, at the University of South Alabama Medical Center (USA) in Mobile, AL. She was born in Laurel, MS on Thursday, June 18, 1998. Gabby knew early in life that she wanted to make a big difference in this world by saving the lives of others and helping the sick and injured. She followed in the footsteps of her big sister by becoming a licensed National Registered Paramedic in Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi, where she worked as a Paramedic/Supervisor for ASAP Ambulance Service. She will always be remembered by her co-workers and peers as an amazing Paramedic who touched the lives of many people. She left this life as a Medic while still saving the lives of others, as she chose to give the gift of life as an Organ Donor. Gabby is survived by her wife, Shannon Moore of Scooba, MS; parents, Johnie Ray Boutwell, Sr. and Brenda Hutto Boutwell both of Clara, MS; two sisters, Jennifer Boutwell of New Orleans, LA, Arristie Parker (Rob) of Clara, MS; two brothers, Johnie Boutwell, Jr. (Denise) of Lake Charles, LA, Chris Boutwell (Annette) of Waynesboro, MS; niece, Madelyn; three nephews, Conner, Bryson, and Dominic; her beloved dog, Axel "Smoosh". Visitation for Gabby will be held from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Bro. Craig Jackson officiating. Interment and EMS honors (Final Call) will be in Shirley Place Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
