Mr. Darvin Ray Tate, 60, of Millry, AL passed from this life Friday, March 27, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Butler, AL on Sunday, June 14, 1959 to Clarence Tate and Velma Dixon Tate. He was a member of Independent Community Church. He was retired as a truck driver for S & E Logging. Mr. Tate is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Tate; mother, Velma Tate; 2 brothers, William Tate, Lemuel Tate; sister, Vernice Hopkins; grandson, Grayson Riley Tate. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 43 years, June Tate, Millry, AL; son, Kendall Tate (Victoria), Millry, AL; brother, Ricky Tate, Millry, AL; sister, Ethelene Perry, Clara, MS; grandson, Kaden Reid Tate, Millry, AL. Graveside Services for Mr. Tate will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 29, 2020 at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Millry, AL with Rev. Michael Mooney, Rev. Junior Brewer, and Rev. Mark Guy officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Millry, AL.
