Charles L. Hutchinson

Mr. Charles L. Hutchinson, 68, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, April 1, 2022 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Saturday, October 24, 1953 to the late J. C. and Ruby Hutchinson. He started working in the oil field for Benton Casing Service as a Crew Pusher and Truck Driver. After leaving the oil field he purchased his own Log Truck and became a Contract Driver to many of the local logging companies. He later owned and operated his own Paint & Body Shop before retiring. Mr. Hutchinson is preceded in death by his parents, J. C. Hutchinson and Ruby Butcher; baby daughter, Misty Hutchinson; brother, John Jeffery Hutchinson; sister, Martie Thompson. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Holifield (Douglas) of Ellisville, MS; two brothers, Gary Hutchinson (Brenda) of Waynesboro, MS, Archie "Gene" Baggett of Gautier, MS; sister, Lynn Schwartz (Mike) of Moss Point, MS; two granddaughters, Maci and Ramsey Holifield both of Ellisville, MS. Visitation for Mr. Hutchinson will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. John Brown officiating. Interment will be in Liberty Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
