Mr. Cecil Coit O'Dom, 93, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Brookwood Villa Personal Care Home in Waynesboro. He was born in Waynesboro on Monday, January 20, 1930 to Thomas Edward O'Dom and Minnie Guthrie O'Dom. Mr. O'Dom served in the United States Air Force and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Bridgeway Church. He retired as a Service Manager at Reliable Trucking. Mr. O'Dom is preceded in death by his wife, Gatha McInnis O'Dom; father, Thomas Edward O'Dom; mother, Minnie Guthrie O'Dom; brother, Doyle O'Dom; special cousin, Craig O'Dom. He is survived by his two sons, Gerald O'Dom (Jill), Gary O'Dom (Sandra); daughter, Teresa Besson (Scott); grandson, Austin O'Dom; two granddaughters, Shea Clanton, Audra Brewer (Bryson); grandson, Cade Clanton (Kaleigh); great granddaughter, Ava O'Dom; great grandson, Bear Brewer; several nieces and nephews; special cousin, Glen O'Dom. Visitation for Mr. O'Dom will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, August 4, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Bridgeway Church, 181 Tatum Road, Waynesboro, MS with Dr. DeJuan Walley officiating. Interment will be in Coyt Cemetery, 175 Coyt Road, Waynesboro, MS. Pallbearers are Al Harrison, Steve Odom, Larry Blair, Elgin McInnis, Allen McInnis, Lonnie McInnis, Dail Odom, Terry Clanton, George Stark.
