She was born in Mississippi on Wednesday, December 6, 1950 to John Richardson and Frances Royce. She had worked as a  Registered Nurse. Mrs. Carrie is preceded in death by her father, John Richardson; mother, Frances Royce; brother, Dossie John Richardson. She is survived by her husband, Tim Brasington, Matherville, MS; 2 sons, Brian Turner, Reserve, LA, Douglas Turner, Daphne, AL; daughter, Lori Byrd (Don), Richton, MS; brother, William Richardson, Matherville, MS; sister, Marie O'Neal Dueitt, Matherville, MS; 7 grandchildren, Anthony Turner (Andrea), Brandon Turner, Shelby Brewer (Lance), Aaron Turner (Heather), Alex Boss (Corey), Lindsey Thompson (Ross), Anna Turner; 7 great-grandchildren, Lexi, Khloe, Addy, Dallis, Jaxon, Brayleigh, Hadley. Visitation for Mrs. Carrie will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Friday, February 28, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 28, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Maxine Turner officiating. Interment will be in Geneva-Horne Cemetery in Matherville, MS.
