Mrs. Carrie Turner Brasington, 69, of Matherville, MS passed from this life Monday, February 24, 2020 in Reserve, LA. She was born in Mississippi on Wednesday, December 6, 1950 to John Richardson and Frances Royce. She had worked as a  Registered Nurse. Mrs. Carrie is preceded in death by her father, John Richardson; mother, Frances Royce; brother, Dossie John Richardson. She is survived by her husband, Tim Brasington, Matherville, MS; 2 sons, Brian Turner, Reserve, LA, Douglas Turner, Daphne, AL; daughter, Lori Byrd (Don), Richton, MS; brother, William Richardson, Matherville, MS; sister, Marie O'Neal Dueitt, Matherville, MS; 7 grandchildren, Anthony Turner (Andrea), Brandon Turner, Shelby Brewer (Lance), Aaron Turner (Heather), Alex Boss (Corey), Lindsey Thompson (Ross), Anna Turner; 7 great-grandchildren, Lexi, Khloe, Addy, Dallis, Jaxon, Brayleigh, Hadley. Visitation for Mrs. Carrie will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Friday, February 28, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 28, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Maxine Turner officiating. Interment will be in Geneva-Horne Cemetery in Matherville, MS.
