Carolyn Stagg

   Mrs. Carolyn Stagg, 74, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, October 18, 2024, at Brookwood Villa Personal Care Home in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Quitman, MS on Saturday, May 13, 1950, to the late John E. and June Stagg. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Waynesboro. She worked as a self-employed Music Teacher.

   Mrs. Stagg is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Smith; parents, John E. and June Stagg. She is survived by her son, John David Stagg (Katherine) of Readyville, TN; brother, Fred Stagg (Kathy); two granddaughters, June Stagg and Linley Stagg.

   A Memorial Service for Mrs. Stagg will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 26, 2024, at First Methodist Church of Waynesboro in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Ron Stanley, Rev. Dr. Will Dowling, and Rev. James M. Matheny officiating. A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Matherville-Horne Cemetery adjacent to Geneva Presbyterian Church in Matherville, MS.
