Carolyn (Kirkland) Humphrey

   Mrs. Carolyn Humphrey, 78, of Millry, AL passed peacefully from this life Friday, February 13, 2026, at Washington County Nursing Home in Chatom, AL surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Millry, AL on Thursday, September 11, 1947, to the late Jesse and Mae Eula (Stokley) Kirkland. She was a faithful member of Flat Branch Church where she served as church pianist for many years. She retired as a salesclerk at Ellis-Chapman in Waynesboro, MS.

   Mrs. Humphrey is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Mae Eula (Stokley) Kirkland; sister, Geraldean (Kirkland) Heathcock. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 59 years, W. D. Humphrey of Millry, AL; daughter, Lisa Roberts (Mark); grandson, Jonathan Roberts, all of Meridian, MS.

   Visitation for Mrs. Humphrey will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Flat Branch Church in Millry, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Flat Branch Church in Millry, AL with Rev. Jimmie Butts and Rev. Jim Koen officiating. Interment will be in Flat Branch Cemetery in Millry, AL.
