Bobby "Sandy" Armstrong

Mr. Bobby "Sandy" Armstrong, 67, of Waynesboro, MS died Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born in Laurel, MS on Tuesday, June 30, 1953 to Clyde Armstrong and Irma Jean Armstrong. He was a member of West Shady Grove Baptist Church.  He had worked as a self-employed Farmer. Mr. Armstrong is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Armstrong; mother, Irma Jean Armstrong; step-son, Jonathan Chris Lee. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Sue Armstrong; brother, Kenny Armstrong; two sisters, Sharon Barnett, Wanda Joyce West (Robert Earl); grandchild, Kloie Stevens; two nephews, Brandon West, Kirkland West, all of Waynesboro, MS. Visitation for Mr. Armstrong will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 3, 2020 at West Shady Grove Cemetery in Wayne County, MS with Rev. Tommy Davis officiating. Pallbearers are T. O. Bonner, Braxton Lee, Justin Everette, Josh Dykes, Jessie Carr, Josie Carr.
