Betty (Dykes) Abrell

   Mrs. Betty (Dykes) Abrell, 86, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Tuesday, July 26, 1938, to the late Leroy and Georgia Dykes. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Waynesboro. She retired as a co-owner and operator of HMS of Southwest Florida. 
   Mrs. Abrell is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray Abrell; three brothers, Billy Ray Dykes, George Dykes, and Troy Dykes; two sisters, Helen Brown and Johnnie Mae Snyder. She is survived by her son, Charles Britton, Jr. (Brigitte) of Waynesboro, MS; three brothers, Jerry Dykes (Carolyn), Gary Dykes (Linda), both of Waynesboro, MS, Leroy Dykes (Sylvia), Brookhaven, MS; three Sisters-In-Law, Sharon Dykes, Sarah Dykes, Clara Dykes; granddaughter, Haley DiMartino; great granddaughter, Britton DiMartino, both of Brandon, MS. 
   A Graveside Service for Mrs. Abrell will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at West Shady Grove Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Dr. Steve Smith officiating. Interment will be in West Shady Grove Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
