Berniece Stevison

Mrs. Berniece Stevison passed from this life Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Comfort Care Nursing Center in Laurel, MS. She was a retired employee at Mid-South Manufacturing Company in Richton, MS. She also was a loving wife, mother, and religious lady. She loved her family. 

Mrs. Stevison is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Stevison; father, Turley Butler and mother, Nevie Henderson Butler; three brothers, J. T. Butler, Irvin Butler and Arthur Ray Butler; two sisters, Zelene Miller and Nanette Stevens. She is survived by her son, Donnie E. Stevison (Sheryl), Richton, MS; four daughters, Lillie Harrison (Bill), Waynebsoro, MS, Neva Seawright (Doyle), Waynesboro, MS, Brenda Stevison Overstreet (Jerry), Richton, MS, Karen Stevison Perry, Waynesboro, MS; brother, John A. Butler, Petal, MS, two sisters, Qullie Ziger, Kingston, MD, Alois Watrous, Hattiesburg, MS; 10 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, 12 Great Great Grandchildren; and several Nieces and Nephews. 

A Graveside Service will be held for Mrs. Stevison at 11:00 AM Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Mulberry Cemetery in Richton, MS with Rev. Aubrey Cook and Rev. Shot Stinson officiating.
