Mrs. Barbara Pippen, 69, of Hattiesburg, MS passed from this life Monday, September 20, 2021, at Hattiesburg Health and Rehabilitation in Hattiesburg, MS. She was born in Laurel, MS on Sunday, September 7, 1952, to B. C. Waller and Grace Waller. She was a member of Ellisville First Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Pippen is preceded in death by her husband, William Turner Pippen, Jr.; father, B. C. Waller; mother, Grace Waller; son, James David Pippen. She is survived by her son, William Randall Pippen of Ashville, NC; daughter, Pellissia Pippen of Ellisville, MS; brother, Ronnie Waller of Ellisville, MS; four sisters, Janet Jones, Rita Sumrall, Sherry James all of Ellisville, MS, Debra Pippen of Waynesboro, MS. The family would like to thank the staff of Hattiesburg Health and Rehabilitation, her social worker, Kathy Norris, and Home Care Hospice. Visitation for Mrs. Pippen will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, September 26, 2021, at West Shady Grove Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Kenny Morris and Rev. Scott Davis officiating. Interment will be in West Shady Grove Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
