Mrs. Barbara Douglas, 93, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, May 1, 2023 at Brookwood Villa Personal Care Home in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Tuesday, April 22, 1930 to the late Henry B. and Bertha E. Adams. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Buckatunna. She was retired as a Teller at First State Bank. Mrs. Douglas is preceded in death by her husband, Bunyon Douglas; parents, Henry B. and Bertha E. Adams; daughter, Ellen Dell Douglas. She is survived by her son, Allen Douglas (Deborah) of Waynesboro, MS; two granddaughters, Kristina Wheat (Will) of Hattiesburg, MS, Lauren Farrar (Stanley) of Laurel, MS; four great granddaughters, Rachel Wheat, Madison Wheat, Katherine Farrar, Avery Farrar. Visitation for Mrs. Douglas will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Dr. Terry Williams and Mr. Jody Phillips officiating. Interment will be in Providence Cemetery in State Line, MS.
