Arlene H. Deese

Mrs. Arlene H. Deese, 86, a lifelong resident of Yellow Pine, AL passed from this life Sunday, March 14, 2021 at her daughter's residence in Perdido Key, FL. She was born in Van Buren, ME on Thursday, January 24, 1935 to Joseph Alfred Thomas Violette and Catherine Martin Violette. She attended South Oak Grove Baptist Church with her youngest daughter. Mrs. Deese is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie N. Deese; father, Joseph Alfred Thomas Violette; mother, Catherine M. Violette; four brothers, Nelson Violette, Alfred Violette, George Violette, Cecil Violette; three sisters, Alfredia Violette, Jeannette Violette, Rita Violette. She is survived by her son, John N. Deese (Jacquelyn), Fruitdale, AL; five daughters, Diane Touchstone (Mike), Millry, AL, Rita Ann Cochran (Thomas), Buckatunna, MS, Tina Saltzman (Dave), Perdido Key, FL, Clarisse Dail (John T.), Buckatunna, MS, Mary Ann Deese, Fruitdale, AL; brother, Robert Violette, Van Buren, ME; two sisters, Shirley Violette, Eva Violette both of Van Buren, ME; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Deese will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at South Oak Grove Baptist Church, 824 Firetower Drive, Fruitdale, AL 36539. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at South Oak Grove Baptist Church in Fruitdale, AL with Rev. William "Buddy" Jones officiating. Interment will be in State Line Cemetery in State Line, MS.
