Mr. Anthony "Tony" Smith, Sr., 62, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. He was born in Gulfport, MS on Tuesday, March 3, 1959 to Ulmont Smith and Mary Rogers. He was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Tony served in the United States Air Force and was a Veteran. He worked as an Injection Molding Technician at Excel Injection Molding. Mr. Tony is preceded in death by his step-mother, Jean Smith; brother, Randy Smith. He is survived by his wife, Debra Smith, Waynesboro, MS; father, Ulmont Smith, Long Beach, MS; mother, Mary Rogers, Sanford, MS; three sons, Anthony Ulmont Smith, Jr., Waynesboro, MS; James Thomas Smith, TX, Gregory Tyler Smith, Waynesboro, MS; three daughters, Racheal Marie Matthews, Biloxi, MS, Makayla Elizabeth Jenkins (Justin), Meridian, MS, Kristeen Michelle Rook, Lucedale, MS; step-daughter, Nicole Laddie, Ocean Springs, MS; two brothers, Jeff Smith (Pam), Gulfport, MS, Steve Smith (Yevette), Bay Springs, MS; 10 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Tony will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, Monday, March 15, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 15, 2021 at Boykin Cemetery in Wayne County, MS with Rev. Matt Olson officiating.
