Alma Lou (Huffman) Brownlee

   Mrs. Alma Lou Brownlee, 69, of Vossburg, MS passed from this life Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Ochsner Rush Medical Center in Meridian, MS. She was born in Winamac, IN on Sunday, September 18, 1955, to the late Mildred and Paul Huffman. She was a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church.

   Mrs. Brownlee is preceded in death by her husband, Arvel Brownlee; parents, Mildred and Paul Huffman; two brothers, Abraham Huffman and Paul Huffman. She is survived by her son, David Brownlee of Quitman, MS; two daughters, Mary Boleware (David) of Vossburg, MS and Tonya Brownlee of Eucutta, MS; two brothers, Larry Huffman of Laurel, MS and Dennis Huffman of Quitman, MS; two sisters, Patsy Ann Rhymes of Vossburg, MS and Ruby Oliver (Jessie) of Waynesboro, MS; four grandchildren, Delia Walker (James), Zelda Boleware (Terry), Isiah Brownlee, and Samuel Boleware; ten great grandchildren, Denee, Caleb, Trisha, Lily, Jace, Adam, Izabela, Emily, Amir, and Kristina; a host of nieces and nephews.

   Visitation for Mrs. Brownlee will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Pat Patterson and Rev. Keith Stewart officiating. Interment will be in Goodwater Cemetery in Clarke County, MS.
