Agnes R. Shirley

Mrs. Agnes R. Shirley, 95, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. She was born in State Line, MS on Saturday, August 13, 1927 to the late Arthur Dewey Revette, Sr. and Willie L. Revette. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was retired as a Store Clerk. Mrs. Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, J. Hack Shirley; parents, Arthur Dewey Revette, Sr. and Willie L. Revette; brother, Arthur Dewey Revette, Jr.; sister, Geneva Gardner; nephew, Dewey Revette. She is survived by her sister, Juanita Windham (Phillip) of Waynesboro, MS; Sister-In-Law, Katherine Revette; nephew, Kenneth Revette (Sherri); niece, Ann Byrd (Jr.), all of State Line, MS, Sharay Windham of Ocean Springs, MS; a host of great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Shirley will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, June 2, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 2, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Michael Stevenson and Bro. Scott Walters officiating. Interment will be in Chason Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
