Mr. Wilson Ray Lofton, Sr., 72, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, July 16, 2021 at his home on Creekdale Loop Road. He was born in Waynesboro on Monday, November 8, 1948 to Woodrow Wilson Lofton and Mary Brown Lofton. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.  He was retired from T. K. Stanley Inc. as a Supervisor, Mr. Lofton is preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Wilson Lofton and mother, Mary Brown Lofton. He is survived by his wife, Mary "Tilly" Lofton; two sons, Gregory Scott Lofton (Miranda), Wilson Ray Lofton, Jr. (Maggie); brother, Ronnie Lofton (Maggie); sister, Linda Kay Foxworth (Ray);  three grandchildren, Trinity Lofton, Brenleigh Lofton, and Leighton Lofton, all of Waynesboro, MS. Visitation for Mr. Lofton will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, Monday, July 19, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 19, 2021 at Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro with Dr. Steve Smith officiating. Interment will be in Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro.
