Mrs. Willie Mae Tate, 86, of Millry, AL passed from this life Wednesday, September 22, 2021, peacefully in her home. She was born in Buckatunna, MS on Tuesday, April 9, 1935, to Arthur Elvin Sullivan and Lillie Mae Wood Sullivan. She was a faithful member of Pine Tree Holiness Church where she served throughout the years as Sunday School Teacher and Church Treasurer. She will always be remembered by her family and friends as a kind, loving, and dedicated Christian and Prayer Warrior. Mrs. Willie Mae is preceded in death by her husband, Lincoln Ellis Tate; father, Arthur Elvin Sullivan; mother, Lillie Mae Sullivan; daughter, Tammy Tate Biggs; three brothers, Rolan D. Sullivan, Samuel Roscoe Sullivan, James Elvin Sullivan; five sisters, Esther Lee Everett, Myrtle Mae Dunn, Rosa Lee Walker, Maxie Pearl Beasley, Margie Mageline Dunn. She is survived by her loving, and devoted, daughter, Amy Tate Jones (Brad), Millry, AL; granddaughter, Bethany Lauren Jones, Millry, AL; sister, Alice Janette McCain, Millry, AL. Visitation for Mrs. Willie Mae will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Pine Tree Holiness Church, Millry, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Pine Tree Holiness Church in Millry, AL with Rev. Steve Hankins and Rev. Michael Cooley officiating. Interment will be in Pine Tree Cemetery in Millry, AL.
