Mr. William "Billy" Groves, 67, of Millry, AL passed from this life Saturday, July 12, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Sunday, July 21, 1957, to the late DeWayne Groves and Mary Jones Stanley. Mr. Groves served in the United State Army. He retired as a Water Operator for Whistler Water Works. Mr. Groves is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son, Matthew Groves (Sasha); Pam Groves; two grandsons, Evan and Kaden Groves, all of Millry, AL; sister, Velynda Davies of Mobile, AL; a host of nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service for Mr. Groves will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Kimbrough Cemetery in Millry, AL with Rev. Larry Daugherty officiating. Interment will be in Kimbrough Cemetery in Millry, AL.
