Mrs. Willard Freeman Holcomb, 97, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, December 13, 2024, at Robertsdale Health and Rehabilitation in Robertsdale, AL. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Sunday, July 17, 1927, to the late William W. and Carrie Burge Freeman. She was a member of Waynesboro First Methodist. She retired as owner and operator of Holcomb Monument Company and The Potluck Shoppe. She lived a very full life. She enjoyed motorcycle riding with her late husband, bridge parties with her friends, and traveling abroad. Mrs. Holcomb is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Holcomb, Sr.; parents, William W. and Carrie Freeman; two sons, Willard "Woody" Holcomb and Louis "Lou" Franklin Holcomb, Jr.; two brothers, Don Freeman and Harry B. Freeman; sister, Jane Freeman. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Holcomb Holley (Larry P.) of Foley, AL; two granddaughters, Sheila Rene Jordan of Atlanta, GA and Jessica Lynn Jordan of Sunset Beach, NC; four great grandchildren, Gunnar Blake Jordan, Coleton Louis Jordan, Braiden Nathaniel Hollingsworth, and Remington Lynn Goodfriend; Nephew, Harrel Freeman (Carlton); Niece, Emily Freeman; a host of great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Holcomb will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS. Interment will be in Waynesboro Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
