Mrs. Wilda Rae Jones, 88, of Millry, AL passed from this life Saturday, March 5, 2022 at her residence in Millry, AL. She was born in Beat Four, MS on Saturday, October 14, 1933 to Vernon and Lillian Pugh. She was retired as a self-employed Poultry Farmer. Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her husband, John Braswell "Brazzle" Jones; father, Vernon Pugh; mother, Lillian Pugh; son-in-law, John Shoultz; five brothers, Edward Pugh, George Pugh, J. Willard Pugh, Mallard Pugh, Travis Pugh; two sisters, Flossie Street, Colister Trisler. She is survived by two sons, Darrell Glen Jones (Rita), Randy Jones (Gail) both of Millry, AL; four daughters, Janice Gardner (David) of Four Points, AL, Ruby Shoultz of Millry, AL, Sherry Moseley (Roy) of Saint Stephens, AL, Kathy New (Ken) of Satsuma, AL; 13 grandchildren, Jason Gardner, Alex Gardner (Allison), Joey Moseley (Angel), Jada Tolbert (Patrick), Laura Moseley, Dara Murray (Matt), Keri Orso (Wade), Zack New (Haleigh), Michael New, Hali Jones, Joshua Bishop (Chelsie), Bridgett Hare (Michael), Kaitlin Loper (Chad); 24 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild. Visitation for Mrs. Jones will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, March 7, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 7, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Lamar Chapman and Rev. Scott Giles officiating. Interment will be in New Bethel Cemetery in Millry, AL.
