Mr. Warren Lamar "Rooster" Smith, 60, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Saturday, February 3, 2024, at University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile, AL. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Monday, July 22, 1963, to David Lamar Smith and Yvonne McLain Smith. He was a member of McLain Chapel Assembly of God Church. He worked as a truck driver in the Oil Field.

Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his father, David Lamar Smith; brother, Keith Lamar Smith. He is survived by his loving mother, Yvonne Smith; brother, David Jeffery Smith (Leslie); two sisters, Bonnie Burgess (Donnie), all of Waynesboro, MS, Vonda Beck (Leon) of Laurel, MS; a host of nieces and nephews; special aunt, Katie Cochran of Waynesboro, MS.

Visitation for Mr. Smith will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, February 5, 2024, at McLain Chapel Assembly of God Church, 698 Strengthford Cooley Road, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at McLain Chapel Assembly of God Church in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Trey Beck officiating. Interment will be in David L. Smith Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
