Mr. W J Beasley, 73, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, December 29, 2025, at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born in Washington County, AL on Thursday, May 15, 1952, to the late Ada and Earmon Beasley, Sr.
Mr. Beasley is preceded in death by his patents, Ada and Earmon Beasley, Sr.; three brothers, Jessie Elmer Bealsey, Darrell Daniel Beasley, and Earnest Beasley; twin sister, Minnie "Red" Shirley; five sisters, Dorothy Mae Wynn, Alice Mae Presley, Sadie Pearl Dearmon, Sharon "Cheryl" Sumrall, and Barbara Jean Doggett. He is survived by his three sons, John Wesley Beasley (Roxanne) of Ellisville, MS, Richard Lee Landrum (Ashley) of Laurel, MS, and Daniel Dean Landrum (Catherine), Garden City, LA; three brothers, Earl Gray Beasley, Bobby Joe Beasley, and Pete Beasley; two sisters, Zellene Beasley and Jewel Shirley, all of Laurel, MS; two grandchildren, Brooklyn Siffert (Ethan) of Ellisville, MS and Corey Gaudet (Stephanie) of Broussard, LA; three great grandchildren, Zoey Siffert, Amelia Gaudet, and Xander Gaudet; a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Beasley will be held from 11:30 PM to 1:30 PM, Friday, January 2, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 2, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Shawn Hales officiating. Interment will be in Sandridge Cemetery in Millry, AL.
