Mrs. Vongia Lee Smith Revette, 96, of State Line, MS passed from this life Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Greene County, MS on Monday, November 26, 1928, to the late Elbert H. and Gillie Ann Smith. Mrs. Revette is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Grant Revette; parents, Elbert H. and Gillie Ann Smith; three sisters, Bonita Perry, Dorothy Smith, and Donnis Byrd; grandson, Tom McCary; nephew, Terrell Perry. She is survived by two sons, Jerry G. Revette (Janie) of State Line, MS and Larry N. Revette (Judy) of Waynesboro, MS; brother, Elbert Lavon Smith (Janise) of Sandhill, MS; granddaughter, Brooke Hardman (Joe); two great grandchildren, Hannah Jane Hardman and Joseph A. Hardman, III; two nephews, Ray Perry and Lee Byrd; four nieces, Jessica McCaa, Elizabeth Williford, Lynn Harvison, and Lane Kitchens. A Graveside Service for Mrs. Revette will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 1, 2025, at Revette Cemetery in State Line, MS with Rev. Dr. Victor R. Chatham officiating. Interment will be in Revette Cemetery in State Line, MS.
