Mrs. Vivian Hartley "Dollie" Cooper, 89, of Millry, AL passed from this life Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Copeland, AL on Sunday, November 20, 1932 to the late Jessie Collie Hartley and Katie Hartley. Mrs. Dollie attended Millry High School. She was a member of Copeland Assembly of God Church where she served as church secretary and Sunday School teacher throughout the years. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy, and the Eastern Star. She was an amazing housewife and mother. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, worshiping God, and gardening. Mrs. Dollie is preceded in death by her father, Jessie Collie Hartley; mother, Katie Hartley; son, Mark Dewayne Cooper; 5 brothers; 4 sisters; 1 grandson; 1 great great-grandson. She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Dalton Darro Cooper of Millry, AL; son, Darro August Cooper (Alice) of Ooltewah, TN; two daughters, Diane Pearson (Jim) of Louisville, TN, Debra Cooley (Brad) of Kathleen, GA; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Dollie will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Copeland Assembly of God Church, Millry, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Copeland Assembly of God Church in Millry, AL with Rev. Ronnie Morris and Dr. Mark D. Cooper, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Jones-Hill Cemetery in Millry, AL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Jones-Hill Cemetery, 45 Earnest Hartley Drive, Millry, AL 36558.
