Mrs. Virginia Ell Kelley Guy, 86, of State Line, MS passed from this life Saturday, June 6, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Greene County, MS on Thursday, May 2, 1940, to the late John Samuel Kelley and Lawrettie Lucas Kelley. She was a member of Harvest Temple Church. Mrs. Guy was a Godly woman that loved serving anywhere needed and will always be remembered for helping raise children other than hers. She loved growing vegetables and flowers and sharing them with others.

   Mrs. Guy is preceded in death by her husband, Alton Guy; father, John Samuel Kelley; mother, Lawrettie Lucas Kelley Davis; five brothers, John A. Kelley, George W. "Tiny" Kelley, Homer Paul Kelley, Joe Kelley, and Jim Kelley; three sisters, Mary A. Rigney, Naomi "Pie" Crager, and Deloris Henderson. She is survived by two sons, Alton Dwayne Guy (Paula D.) and Phillip Douglas Guy (Pamela); daughter, Karen Guy Jordan (Carl), all of State Line, MS; 8 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; 1 great grandson on the way.

   Visitation for Mrs. Guy will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Harvest Temple Church, 111 Turner Street, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Harvest Temple Church in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. James Walley and Rev. Edward Bean officiating. Interment will be in Providence Cemetery in State Line, MS. Pallbearers are Joshua Guy, Jeremy Jordan, Joseph Guy, Drake Guy, Daniel Jordan, and Jacob Jordan. Honorary Pallbearers are Chase Barnes, Dumas Milner, and Joshua Cameron Guy.
