Mr. Tommy Hickmon, 71, of Laurel, MS passed from this life Sunday, July 12, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Tuesday, January 4, 1955, to the late Talmadge and Myrtle Mozingo Hickmon. He was a member of Harvest Time Assembly of God Church.

   Mr. Hickmon is preceded in death by his parents, Talmadge and Myrtle Mozingo Hickmon; two brothers, Gaston Hickmon and T. C. Hickmon; sister, Cornelia Hickmon. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Kendra Hickmon of Laurel, MS; three sisters, Carolyn Hodge of Laurel, MS, Juanita Langley (David) of Waynesboro, MS, and Terri Carney (Craig) of Waynesboro, MS; brother, Donald Hickmon of Laurel, MS; a host of nieces and nephews.

   Visitation for Mr. Hickmon will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Strengthford First Baptist Church, 1663 Salem Road, Laurel, MS 39443. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 17, 2026, at Strengthford First Baptist Church in Laurel, MS with Rev. Bobby Walker and Rev. Bart Whitehead officiating. Interment will be in Strengthford Congregational Cemetery, 852 Strengthford Pleasant Grove Road, Laurel, MS 39443. Pallbearers are Tony Hickmon, Tyler Hickmon, Dwayne Newsome, Cameron Stewart, Justin Goldman, and Ben Turner. Honorary Pallbearers are Donald Hickmon and Craig Carney.
