Mr. Tom Becton, 80, of Millry, AL passed from this life Friday, September 4, 2026, at USA Health Providence Hospital in Mobile, AL. He was born in Silas, AL on Tuesday, January 22, 1946, to the late Tot and Mattie Becton. He was a member of Waynesboro First Methodist Church. He retired as a self-employed farmer.

   Mr. Becton is preceded in death by his parents, Tot and Mattie Becton; two brothers, L. D. Becton and Joe Becton; sister, Totsy Ann Todd. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Amy "Chip" Becton of Millry, AL; son, Thad Becton (Crystal) of Silas, AL; daughter, Braye Galloway (David) of Pensacola, FL; brother, O. M. Becton (Carolyn) of Silas, AL; six grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Galloway, Madison Galloway, Avery Becton, Aiden Becton, Owen Becton, and Kyle Galloway; a host of nieces and nephews.

   Visitation for Mr. Becton will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Waynesboro First Methodist Church, 701 Turner Street, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Waynesboro First Methodist Church in Waynesboro, MS. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Choctaw County, AL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the New Life Deliverance Center in Waynesboro.
