Mr. Timothy "Timmy" George Burton, 62, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, July 29, 2024 at his home. He was born on Thursday, September 14, 1961 to George Burton and Ann Burton. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Waynesboro. He worked as a Salesman at Gatlin Building Supply. He will always be remembered for his selfless love for his family.

Mr. Burton is preceded in death by his father, George Burton. He is survived by his mother, Ann Burton; sister, Cindy Smith; brother-in-law, Randy Smith; nephew, Jesse Smith (Mariana); a host of cousins.

Visitation for Mr. Burton will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS.  A Private Graveside Service will be held at Serenity Gardens Cemetery, Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Jim McEachern officiating. Pallbearers are Randy Smith, Jesse Smith, Redell Bonner, Mark Burton, Mike Roberts, Travis Pitts.
