Mr. Thomas L. Johnston, 83, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Butler, AL on Thursday, October 1, 1942, to the late Harvey and Florene Johnston. Mr. Johnston served in the United States Air Force. He attended Ebenezer Baptist Church in Pennington, AL. He worked as a CPA at Johnston & Associates. Mr. Johnston is preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jean Johnston; parents, Harvey and Florene Johnston. He is survived by his son, Randall Lamar Johnston (Lora) of Waynesboro, MS; two daughters, Paula Lynn Bays (John) of Lafayette, LA and Christina Evans (Todd) of Laurel, MS; brother, Lafayette Johnston of Pennington, AL; nine grandchildren, Ashton, Taylor, Devon, Hannah, Camille, Mallory, Ty, Hunter, and Manning; a host of great grandchildren. A Memorial Graveside Service for Mr. Johnston will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 22, 2025, at Springbank Cemetery in Silas, AL with Rev. Scott Myers officiating. Interment will be in Spring Bank Cemetery in Silas, AL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude. "A marriage made in Heaven has gone home"
