Mr. Thomas "Tommy" Carlisle, Jr., 78, of Butler, AL passed from this life Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Choctaw General Hospital in Butler, AL. He was born in Butler, AL on Thursday, March 18, 1943 to Thomas Carlisle, Sr. and Edith Carlisle. He had worked as a Rough Neck in the Oilfield. Mr. Carlisle is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Carlisle, Sr.; mother, Edith Carlisle; step son, Bobby Billington; one brother, Robert Carlisle; three sisters, Alice Carlisle, Frances Henderson, Doris Clark. He is survived by his beloved Bea Shoemaker, Butler, AL; step son, James Billington, Creola, AL; step daughter, May Sue Shoemaker, Wilmer, AL; two brothers, Johnny Carlisle, Waynesboro, MS, Wayne Carlisle, Clara, MS; three sisters, Polly G. McKinnie (Billy), Farmerville, LA, Judy Kay Huffman (Kirt), Elm Grove, LA, Linda Dorsey (Tony), Hattiesburg, MS; seven grandchildren, Lonnie Billington, Brandon Billington, Justin Billington, Jason Billington, Jay Shoemaker, Bailee James, Jordan James; five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Carlisle will be held from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, Monday, May 3, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, May 3, 2021 at White House Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Gerald Henderson and Larry Henderson officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery.
