Mr. Thomas H. "Bud" Hudson, 74, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Wayne General Hospital. He was born in Laurel on Tuesday, July 15, 1947 to Rufus Hudson and Flora Hudson. He was a member of Faith Chapel Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army Reserve. He had worked as a Supervisor at Clarkco Oilfield Services, Inc. Mr. Bud is preceded in death by his father, Rufus Hudson; mother, Flora Hudson; two brothers, Herman Hudson, Haskel Hudson; sister, Debra Pittman; grandson, Jeffrey Hudson, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Laverne Hudson; son, Jeffrey Hudson (Karen); brother, Howard Hudson, all of Clara, MS; four sisters, Betty Bunch, Waynesboro, MS, Frances Algam, Plano, TX, Aniece Hollinghead, Clara, MS, Sharon Dearmon, Waynesboro, MS; three grandchildren, Andrew Hudson, Clara, MS, Jaclyn Busby, Beat Four, MS, Hannah Dossey (Austin), Mount Olive, MS; great grandson, Mayson Brooks, Mount Olive, MS. Visitation for Mr. Bud will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 13, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Jesse Long, III officiating. Interment will be in Bud Hudson Cemetery, 33 Rufus Hudson, Drive, Waynesboro, MS.
