Tanya Lynn Carson, 55, of Shubuta, MS passed from this life Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Forrest General Hospital. She was born in Meridian on Thursday, October 7, 1965 to Carey F. "Buddy" Stanley and Laura Joyce Stanley. She was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church. She was a Homemaker. Tanya is preceded in death by her infant son; paternal grandparents, T. K. and Vera Stanley; maternal grandparents, Tommy and Ella Smith. She is survived by her father, Carey F. "Buddy" Stanley; mother, Laura Joyce Stanley; three sons, Joseph Carey Carson, Caleb Carson, Casey Carson; two daughters, Laura Carson, Carey Lynn Carson, all of Shubuta, MS; one sister, Karen Joy Thornton (Donnie Pat), Waynesboro, MS; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Graveside Services for Tanya will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Clear Creek Cemetery in Shubuta, MS with Rev. Fred Toomey officiating.
